SEALBEU868

The TEKTELIC SEAL (SEALBEU868) is a light, compact LoRaWAN wearable GPS tracker designed for personnel safety in industrial work sites, lone-worker environments, and hazardous areas. The IP67 rugged enclosure houses a high-sensitivity multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou), Bluetooth Low Energy for continued tracking indoors, a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer for fall and impact detection, and a digital barometric pressure sensor for elevation detection. Safety features include an integrated panic/SOS button, audio and visual alarms (buzzer and LEDs), geofencing capabilities, and event-based startup that increases reporting when activity is detected. The non-clip variant is designed for wear on a lanyard or belt. Powered by 3× AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries for 8–15 months of operation depending on configuration. LoRaWAN Class A radio operates at up to 23 dBm Tx with −137 dBm sensitivity for long-range coverage.

Activation: SEAL ships in DEEP SLEEP with batteries installed. It is activated via a button pattern. See the user guide for activation instructions.


Battery: Use only Energizer L91 Ultimate Lithium AA size 1.5 V lithium iron disulfide batteries for proper operation.
