MACO2NEU868

The TEKTELIC KONA Mega (MACO2NEU868-J) is a high-capacity outdoor LoRaWAN gateway designed for public and private network operators deploying large-scale or high-density networks. This Ethernet-only EU868 TDD variant provides 32 + 4 Rx and 4 Tx channels with double simultaneous Tx capability — supporting millions of Rx messages per day. Two N-Type LoRa antenna ports enable Rx diversity, improving end-device SNR and link budget while extending sensor battery life. The built-in High-Q RF cavity filter delivers 75 dB Tx-to-Rx isolation and strong out-of-band rejection — critical in dense RF environments where cellular and adjacent-band interference would otherwise degrade gateway performance. Housed in a hardened aluminium IP67 enclosure with surge protection on all interfaces (DC, Ethernet, GPS, LoRa RF), it operates from −40 to +60 °C. Powered via PoE 802.3bt or direct 48 VDC input (20 W typical), with integrated GPS holdover for resilient time synchronization.

Note: Other regional channel plans (US915, AU915, AS923 Singapore/Japan, BR915) are available on request — please contact us for a quote.

Note: Two LoRa antennas with N-Type male connectors are required to leverage Rx diversity (sold separately, max 8 dBi gain). A GPS antenna is also required and sold separately.

Note: Professional installation by trained RF technicians is required. The gateway must be properly earth-grounded before any other interface is connected.
